Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management: Public preview of SharePoint site selection enhancement

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is set to introduce a public preview of SharePoint site selection enhancement, aimed at improving the platform's functionality. With this new update, Insider Risk Management admins gain the ability to add any SharePoint sites as priority content or exclude some sites from Insider Risk Management policies, simply by searching for the site names or using the specific URLs. This capability accentuates the tool's ability to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP theft, security violations, and data leakage. To prepare for this update, organizations can add SharePoint sites to exclusion at insider risk settings or add them to priority content at policies. You'll find the Insider Risk Management solution in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. Designed with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to ensure user-level privacy.
