Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management: Public preview of policy wizard enhancements

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is set to introduce policy wizard enhancements with its public preview rollout. The tool makes use of various signals to identify any malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security violations, and data leakage. Users can create their policies based on their governance, organizational requirements, and ethics. The solution is built using a privacy-by-design approach where users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy. You can access the Insider Risk Management technique in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. The rollout of policy wizard enhancements is set to begin at the end of January 2024 and is expected to conclude by early February 2024. Users will enjoy an enhanced user experience while editing and creating policies due to the expected improvements in the Trigger, Trigger threshold, Indicator threshold, and the Summary pages of the policy wizard.
