Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management-New attributes and features for alert and case

Microsoft Purview has introduced additional attributes for alerts and cases to improve the visibility of insider risk management. Customers can now prioritize the alerts and cases based on the newly added attributes, such as the date of last activity detected or the last working date of employees leaving an organization. Administrators can also customize columns and save a combination of filters and columns based on their preferences. Insider Risk Management identifies potential insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. The module enables organizations to create policies that are aligned with their governance and organizational requirements. Users are pseudonymized by default to ensure privacy, and audit logs and role-based access controls are in place to enhance user-level privacy. This update is set to release on January CY2024, with the Preview release scheduled for October CY2023.
