Microsoft Purview | Insider Risk Management: Public preview of policy deletion enhancement

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is introducing an enhancement that allows admins to delete all associated alerts and users in scope when deleting a policy. This feature will automatically roll out mid-May to mid-June 2024 for public preview and mid-July to late July 2024 for worldwide general availability. Admins with the proper permissions can access the solution from the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. Insider Risk Management uses various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Privacy is prioritized, with pseudonymization by default, and access controls and audit logs in place for user-level privacy. There is no action needed to enable the feature, and more details can be found on Microsoft Learn.
