Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Communication Compliance – Detect Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 interactions template

Microsoft is introducing a new template within Communication Compliance to analyze all interactions on Copilot for Microsoft 365, ensuring that the content being used is not prohibited by customers’ policies. This includes monitoring for harassing or threatening language, which expands Communication Compliance's reach in line with Microsoft 365’s expanding interfaces. Administrators can also select Copilot chats as a checked location in the policy creation wizard, giving them precise control over their organization’s communication management strategy, with a focus on user privacy protection. The feature offers flexibility and adaptability in compliance management, ensuring that communications remain secure, compliant, and respectful of user privacy. This new feature is set to be available on the web cloud platform from November CY2024.
