Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Communication Compliance – Ability to create custom tags in Communication Compliance policies
Microsoft's Communication Compliance feature now allows the creation of custom tags, providing investigators with more flexibility in using tags that match their team or organization's requirements. With the use of custom tags, investigators can leave more contextually meaningful information for each policy match and assist other investigators in understanding the message's status. Default tags will still be available for use. The product is currently in the General Availability Release phase and was first introduced on April CY2024. The platform is web-cloud-based, with instances available for GCC, GCC High, and DoD, and the Roadmap ID is 383136.
