Microsoft Viva Insights: Admins assign delegate access

Microsoft Viva Insights is introducing a new feature that allows admins to assign or remove delegates for managers using PowerShell cmdlets. This feature will be rolled out between mid-November and late January 2025 and will be off by default. This means that before the rollout, no admin action is required. Managers will still be able to assign delegates in the Viva Insights app. The feature will be available for global admins or Insights admins. Admins can learn more about the delegate and group manager roles on the Microsoft Learn website. It is recommended to review the current configuration before the rollout to determine the impact for your organization.
