Microsoft Viva Insights delegate access for leaders

Microsoft Viva Insights has introduced a new feature that allows leaders to delegate access to organization insights to designated individuals within their company. This delegated feature enables designated delegates, such as the leader's Chief of Staff or direct reports, to view organization insights and make data-driven decisions. Delegates will have the same access to organization insights as leaders but cannot view personal insights. This feature which is optional will be available for public preview in early April 2024 and for general availability worldwide in mid-April 2024.

To use this feature, leaders must assign the group manager role to users in Viva Insights who have at least 9 licensed users under their span of control. Delegated access is optional, and leaders can delegate multiple people to access it. Delegated access can be revoked at any time, and the feature is available only for users with a Viva Insights subscription.
