Microsoft Outlook: Send updates only to added or removed meeting attendees

Microsoft Outlook: Send updates only to added or removed meeting attendees

Microsoft Outlook is introducing a new feature that prompts organizers to send meeting updates only to added or removed attendees. This feature will be available for Outlook for the web and New Outlook for Windows, and will be rolled out from late July to late August 2024. Organizers who previously updated meeting attendees were not prompted with Send options, but after the rollout, this feature will be the default state for all users. No admin action is required for the rollout, but organizations may want to notify users about the change and update documentation as needed. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 394687.

For those who use Microsoft Outlook for scheduling meetings, this new feature will be helpful in ensuring that attendees only receive relevant updates.
