Outlook: New Outlook for WIndows and web – Preserve Declined Meetings
A new setting is coming to Outlook on the web and the new version of Outlook for Windows. With this feature, users will have the option to keep declined meetings on their calendar or remove them. When a meeting is declined, it will not show as tentative or block your availability when others try to schedule time with you. This feature is set to be released in November 2023 and is part of the ongoing updates to the Outlook platform.
If you're someone who has declined meetings cluttering up their calendar, this new feature is something to look forward to. It will no longer be necessary to remove them manually, and your availability will not be affected by declined meetings.
Keep an eye out for this new feature, which promises to simplify the calendar management process and make it easier to keep track of your schedule.
