Microsoft Teams: Watermark for anonymous meeting join

Microsoft Teams is introducing watermarked access for anonymous users joining meetings, giving them access to all meeting content. This feature is set to roll out in early November 2024 and will be default for all Teams platforms, including Teams on Windows desktop, Android/iOS, and Teams Rooms. Users will see a watermark of their entered guest name, but admins' watermark policies will remain the same. This change shows Microsoft's ongoing investment to improve security features within Teams. If you prefer a watermark for sensitive Teams meetings, you can run a Microsoft PowerShell script for guests to have access to audio only.
