Microsoft Teams: Content sharing and Admin controls for Teams Rooms on Android
Microsoft Teams has recently announced enhanced content sharing capabilities for Teams Rooms on Android. This includes the ability to share PC audio via HDMI and IT Admin controls on automatic sharing of HDMI content. Users can now view and add annotations to shared content when a desktop user starts a session in a meeting, making collaboration even easier. In addition, Teams Premium users can now enjoy watermark-enabled meetings to keep confidential information secure.
This update will be available for Teams Rooms on Android in the General Availability release phase from April CY2023. The platform will be available on Android Cloud Instance GCC and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), and the Roadmap ID for this update is 119622. Overall, this update is set to improve the collaboration capabilities of Microsoft Teams, making content sharing more streamlined and secure for Teams Rooms on Android.
