Microsoft Teams: Allow meeting apps to show an indicator on their icon to signal new activity
Microsoft Teams is introducing a new feature that enables meeting applications to display an indicator on their icon to encourage users to participate in new in-app activities during a meeting. This feature gives the application the option to show the indicator to selected attendees or to all participants. The release phase for this feature is Targeted Release. Its release date is set for June CY2023 and is available on Desktop Cloud Instance of Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC. This new feature is identified by Roadmap ID 122539.
