Microsoft Teams: Teams Platform Apps in One-on-One VOIP Calls
Microsoft Teams is set to enhance its VOIP Calls by supporting all functionalities of meeting apps such as tabs, bots, in-meeting dialogue, and meeting stage. Users will now be able to enjoy the familiar app experience as seen in Teams Meetings, even during one-on-one VOIP Calls. The enhancements are set to be available on both desktop and cloud platforms, with a worldwide release date of September CY2022. This development is part of the Teams Platform Apps and will serve to improve communication efficiency within the Teams interface.
If you are a Microsoft Teams user, these enhancements are poised to make your VOIP Calls a seamless experience. The same features and functionalities seen during meetings will also be available to enhance your one-on-one calling experience. Keep an eye out for the General Availability Release in September CY2022.
