Microsoft Teams: Teams Platform Apps in Instant Meetings
Microsoft Teams is launching Teams Platform Apps for Instant Meetings in its latest release, which provides users with all the familiar features of meeting apps such as tabs, bots, in-meeting dialogue, and meeting stage. These features will be supported in Teams Instant Meetings that are started from the Calendar. This ensures that users of the Teams Platform Apps enjoy the same familiar app experience as seen in Teams Meetings, in their instant meetings.
This new launch is set to have a general availability release date of September CY2022, and it will be available on desktop and cloud instances worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) as well as GCC. This will certainly elevate user experience and offer developers greater innovation opportunities, allowing them to create apps with more intuitive and engaging features. As a result, Microsoft Teams is becoming even more integrated and powerful in helping businesses to collaborate effectively and productively.
