Microsoft Teams: Text and UI resizing for Teams Rooms on Windows
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows is set to receive an accessibility upgrade as text and UI resizing through display scaling settings will soon be enabled. This feature comes as part of Teams Rooms licenses and will support various scaling combinations for different resolutions. The feature will roll out early August 2024 and will be completed by mid-August without any pre-rollout admin action. The resizing option is included in all Teams Rooms licenses and requires the Teams Rooms on Windows app version 5.1. After roll-out, you can adjust the size of the text and on-screen elements on the front-of-room display or touch board display by adjusting the scaling settings of your display. It is recommended to keep displays at their native resolution, but the feature supports display resolution and scaling combinations such as 1080p resolution with scaling of 100% and 150%, and 4K resolution with scaling of 100%, 125%, 150%, 175%, 200%, and 300%. The feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID: 400707.
