Microsoft Teams: Tags in Shared Channels
Microsoft Teams has introduced the use of team tags to @ mention groups of people within shared channels. This means users can now easily tag and communicate with specific groups of people within a shared channel, enhancing collaboration and making communication more efficient. The feature has a general availability release date of March CY2024, with a preview available in February CY2024. The platform is supported on the web and cloud instances worldwide. This update is part of Microsoft's ongoing effort to improve Teams and make it a more effective tool for workplace communication and collaboration.
