Microsoft Teams: Explicit consent recording meeting policy support on Teams Phone Devices
Microsoft Teams now supports explicit consent recording meeting policy on Teams Phone Devices. This feature ensures that a notification pops up on Teams phone devices requesting consent of participants when the recording or transcription is initiated. This provides an added layer of privacy and security for all participants. The feature is currently in the General Availability Release phase with a release date of July CY2024. It is available on the Android platform and Cloud Instances of Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and GCC.
