Microsoft Teams: Explicit Recording Consent for Teams meetings
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new meeting policy that seeks explicit recording consent from all participants for Teams meetings. With the new policy in effect, the Teams meeting window will prompt all participants to give explicit consent before their audio, video, or screenshare/consent-share is captured in the meeting recording. This policy applies to all users worldwide on the desktop and cloud platform. The general availability release phase is set for March CY2023, which is when the policy will be made available to all users.
