Microsoft Viva: Admin setting to disable private messages in a Viva Engage (Yammer) network
Microsoft Viva now allows admins to disable private messages in their Viva Engage (Yammer) network. This feature will allow admins to turn off private message capabilities, and once done, users will no longer see this feature in the front end. It is a Preview release and is available worldwide for admins to use anytime. However, users who already have messages will lose access to them. All content will still be available via eDiscovery. This feature will be available on the iOS Cloud Instance via a Preview Release as of December CY2023. For more details, check out the roadmap link with ID 178016.
