Reminder: Private Unlisted Groups retired in Viva Engage
A recent update to Viva Engage/Yammer Networks could affect users who created or participated in private unlisted groups. According to the announcement made on September 1, 2022 (MC424414), private unlisted groups were made inaccessible on September 1, 2023, as part of the ongoing upgrade of non-native and hybrid Viva Engage/Yammer Networks. However, this retirement was postponed on May 24, 2023 (MC560717).
If your organization has already received an approved exception from Microsoft support delaying the migration, the private unlisted groups will not be affected. This change will impact users' ability to create and access existing private unlisted groups.
