Self-service trial experience available for Microsoft Purview

Microsoft Purview is offering a self-service trial experience for users starting mid-October. Users can start their trial using their Microsoft Enterprise Azure Active Directory credentials without providing payment information. Organizations can opt-out of this trial, but if enabled, administrators will have the ability to manage the trial licenses like other Microsoft subscriptions and can cancel them at any time. Users who convert to a paid license must contact their organization directly to initiate the process as there is no auto-renew functionality for these trials. Microsoft Purview offers data governance, risk, and compliance solutions to help manage data estates across remote users and fragmented organizations. To prepare, global or billing admins can disable self-service trials using self-service purchase controls.
