Audit – New Stream Logs for Microsoft Purview Audit Standard Users
Microsoft Purview users, take note: The platform is expanding its access to cloud security activity events for Microsoft Stream. Previously, only Audit Premium licensed users had access to five Microsoft Stream events, but now standard users of Purview Audit will also generate these events. The five events now provided for all Audit Standard users are StreamInvokeGetTranscript, StreamInvokeChannelView, StreamInvokeGettExtTrack, StreamInvokeGetVideo, and StreamInvokeGroupView. These changes will roll out from early November 2023 and are expected to be complete by mid-November 2023. This update has M365 Roadmap ID 180738. No special activation instructions for Stream event activation are necessary. Stay informed and stay on top of your cloud security.
