Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Audit – New Exchange and SharePoint Logs for Microsoft Purview Audit Standard Users
Microsoft Purview is expanding the accessibility of cloud security activity events for users of Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint. Standard users of Purview Audit can now generate four new events, previously only accessible to Audit Premium licensed users. These events include MailItemsAccessed, Send, SearchQueryInitiatedExchange, and SearchQueryInitiatedSharepoint, and are designed to enhance the user's experience. However, there are differences in logs based on the user's license, and Audit Premium users will have additional Premium Insight such as the SensitivityLabel for MailItemsAccessed. This update is part of Microsoft's plan to enhance the overall experience for all Audit Standard users.
