Microsoft Stream: Video trim feature

Microsoft Stream, which is hosted on SharePoint, will soon introduce a video trimming feature that allows users with editing permissions to trim videos by selecting the start, end, or any parts in the middle of the video. Trimming a video in Stream will not modify the original video file, but instead will hide the trimmed parts from viewers. Once the trimming process is finished, the trimmed video can be previewed to see how it will appear to viewers. The transcript and chapter of the video will be automatically adjusted to reflect only the parts shown. People with edit permissions can access the full original content, and delete or edit any trimmed parts. The feature can be accessed by selecting the edit button in the Stream web app as soon as it becomes available.
