Microsoft Stream: Variable playback speed support (0.5 – 2x) for all video on OneDrive & SharePoint

Microsoft Stream: Variable playback speed support (0.5 – 2x) for all video on OneDrive & SharePoint

Microsoft has launched a new feature that allows users to control the playback speed of videos stored on OneDrive & SharePoint. This feature will enable users to slow down or speed up the playback (with a range of 0.5x - 2x) while watching the video. It should be noted that Teams meeting recordings already have this feature, but it's now being added to all other videos stores in OneDrive and SharePoint.

If you're looking for more information about this feature and what it can bring to your work, head over to the Microsoft Stream release page. This feature is set to be available starting in February 2023, and users can access it on the web cloud instance for DoD, GCC High, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), and GCC.
