Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint): View video analytics in playback experience

Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint) just got a new feature that allows users to view analytics for videos stored in OneDrive or SharePoint for which they have view permissions. This feature will display analytics as an overlay during video playback, and it can be toggled on or off by selecting the ‘Analytics’ side pane. The analytics include viewership retention, which shows the parts of the video that are most and least viewed, as well as stats showing the number of views and viewers for the last 90 days. This enhancement is set to be generally available and will be released worldwide in February of CY2023.
Stay tuned for more updates on Microsoft Stream, the web-based enterprise video service, as it continues to develop and expand its capabilities.
