Viva Insights: Data export for Viva Glint and Viva Insights data
The Microsoft Advanced Insights application now offers users the ability to export data from Microsoft Viva Glint and Microsoft Viva Insights through the tool's CSV download feature. This functionality provides analysts with new capabilities in the existing Glint and organizational insights Power BI template. Analysts can run queries and download the results as a CSV file, improving the data visualization capabilities within Microsoft's ecosystem. Please keep in mind that CSV downloads are limited to Glint surveys with raw data export enabled by administrators upon survey setup. For more information, visit information about confidentiality. To maximize this new feature, it is essential to consider and assess the impact of transferring survey data from Viva Glint to Viva Insights and to review works council and adapt training as needed. As a result, this new feature will roll out at the end of December 2024, offering users a valuable tool for improving data visualization by directly downloading query results from the Glint and organizational insights Power BI template for surveys that have raw data export enabled.
