Microsoft is introducing a new cmdlet option in Security & Compliance PowerShell to enable export of all Activity explorer log data in the publicly previewed Microsoft Purview compliance portal. The Activity Explorer Export feature currently has a limit of 10,000 rows of data, providing a historical view of activities on labeled content. With this update, admins can use a new cmdlet within Security & Compliance PowerShell, Export-ActivityExplorerData, to export all rows of data for up to 30 days of historical activity. The rollout of this update is set to begin in mid-October and is expected to be complete by mid-November. To use this cmdlet, you need to be assigned permissions and you can get started with Activity Explorer in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
