Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – New cmdlet for Content Explorer

Microsoft has introduced a new cmdlet called Export-ContentExplorerData in their Security & Compliance PowerShell to overcome the limitation of the Content Explorer Export feature. Previously, exporting data was only possible after drilling down to specific locations. However, this new update now allows administrators to export all rows of data for the content that has been scanned and shown on the Content Explorer. This feature is set to release in the Preview phase in February CY2023, with the product release set for March CY2023. It will be available on the Web Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) platform. For more information, refer to the Microsoft Roadmap ID 115472.
