Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Activity explorer export limit increase

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management's activity explorer now allows for an export limit increase from 10K to 100K records. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for organizations that prefer exporting user activity insights to a CSV file. With the new update, they can filter, sort, or pivot through a bigger data set more efficiently.

The Insider Risk Management product is designed to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, including IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. It facilitates the creation of policies underpinned by pseudonymized users by default, role-based access controls, and audit logs to ensure data privacy at the user-level.

This update will be available in September CY2023 Preview date: May CY2023, and is a part of the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) Web Cloud Instance. By increasing the export limit of the activity explorer, this update enhances user experience, enabling customers to create policies that manage security and compliance more seamlessly.
