Microsoft Viva Engage: New feature to limit moving of conversations across communities

Microsoft Viva Engage is adding a new feature to limit the movement of conversations between communities within its network. This feature will be available from January 2024, and it will prevent users from moving conversations into a community, though they can still move conversations out of a community. The "limit move conversation" feature can be toggled on a community's Settings page, and community administrators can use it for managing their communities. The feature will not be available in the mobile apps and the Classic Engage (Yammer) experiences but only in Outlook and Teams apps and the Viva Engage web/desktop experience. The rollout for the feature will be complete by the end of March 2024, and no action is needed to prepare for this change. Admins might want to notify their users about this change and update relevant documentation as appropriate.
