Microsoft Purview | Information Protection: Configure inheritance of attachment labels to email messages
Learn how to configure label policies for email messages with attachments to inherit labels that match the highest classification of those attachments in Microsoft Purview. With this new feature, you can ensure that the sensitive data in the attachments is properly classified and protected, and that the same level of protection is applied to the email containing the attachment. This feature will be available for general availability release in December CY2023 on the web/cloud platform.
