Microsoft 365: Israel datacenter region and Advanced Data Residency availability
Microsoft 365 is expanding its services with a new local cloud region in Israel and the availability of the Advanced Data Residency add-on. Eligible customers can now enjoy committed data residency in the Israel local cloud region, prioritized tenant migration services, and expanded coverage of Microsoft 365 workloads and Customer Data. The platform is web-based and available through Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) instance. The General Availability release date is set for November CY2023. This move promises to further enhance Microsoft 365's coverage and reach, making it more accessible and user-friendly for customers in Israel.
