Microsoft 365: Mexico datacenter region and Advanced Data Residency availability
Microsoft 365 has announced plans to launch a local cloud region in Mexico to provide better service for customers in that region. Additionally, eligible customers will have access to the Advanced Data Residency add-on (ADR), which guarantees data residency within the Mexico local cloud region, priority migration services, and more expansive coverage of Microsoft 365 workloads and customer data. The ADR will become available in Mexico by January 2024. This move represents an effort by Microsoft to provide better data residency options for its customers and to meet the increasing demand for cloud services in the Latin American region.
