Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365: Data residency commitments
Microsoft is adding new data residency commitments for the stored content of interactions with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. These commitments will be available alongside existing data residency commitments for Microsoft 365 and will be applicable for worldwide standard multi-tenant customers through Microsoft Product Terms and data residency product offerings, such as the Advanced Data Residency and Multi-Geo Capabilities add-ons. The product will be released in April of CY2024 and will be available on the cloud platform instance worldwide, for standard multi-tenant customers. This move will facilitate data storage and management, especially for those who need to comply with data residency regulations.
