Power Platform – Move data across regions feature will be made available in more regions

The Power Platform is introducing an update to the Move Data Across Regions setting in the Power Platform admin center, which will be made available in Australia, India, and the United Kingdom starting on December 2, 2024, and fully available by December 12, 2024. This update allows admins to opt out of the ability of Copilot features in environments based in these regions to process data outside of those regions. Recent infrastructure updates have caused some Copilot features to process data outside of their respective regions, and this update gives admins the choice to opt out of this data movement. If you want to disable generative AI features and copilots in your environments, you can do so after December 12, 2024, by following the steps in this documentation: Turn on copilots and generative AI features. No action is required at this time, but it is important to understand what changes will occur.
