Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management- Browsed to generative AI websites indicator

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management has rolled out a new update featuring a "browsed to generative AI sites" indicator to empower organizations to monitor their employees' usage of generative AI domains, with privacy controls in place to protect user information. This helps ensure that organizations have properly accounted for authorized use of these sites in their policies. The product assists organizations in identifying and mitigating potential security breaches, data leakage, and IP theft among others, based on their own internal policies and governance. With privacy as a design principle, users are automatically pseudonymized, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place for user-level privacy.

The preview date is scheduled for December CY2023. Microsoft Purview is a cloud-based service that provides data mapping, classification, and risk analysis.
