Microsoft 365 apps on iOS can create PDFs that inherit sensitivity labels from source files

Microsoft 365 apps on iOS can create PDFs that inherit sensitivity labels from source files

Microsoft 365 apps on iOS now come equipped with a feature for sensitivity labeling PDFs. This feature will assign sensitivity labels to Adobe Acrobat PDFs automatically, using the sensitivity label data from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files edited on those apps. The rollout for this feature is expected to start in mid-February 2024 and conclude in mid-March 2024. Users will need to strip encryption protection from any Office documents that they wish to convert to PDFs with sensitivity labels. It is recommended to visit the PDF Support section of Manage sensitivity labels in Office apps to learn more about this feature. No advance preparation is needed for the rollout. This latest feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 363454.

MC712147 is the message ID associated with this functionality upgrade.
