Retiring Stream (Classic) Tab on Teams Chat/Channel
Microsoft Teams is set to retire the Stream (Classic) Tab from Teams Chat/Channel effective July 10, 2024, and the full rollout is expected to be completed by early August 2024. This change is part of the retirement of Stream Classic. No admin action is required for the change, but users are advised to prepare and make relevant parties aware of the change.
If you or someone in your organization has been using the Stream (Classic) Tab on chat/channel, it is important to note that this feature will no longer be available after the specified date. Microsoft will gradually roll out this change to customers in mid-July 2024. Therefore, it is essential to notify your users and update relevant documentation to avoid any confusion.
