Microsoft Teams: Message result suggestions when typing to search

Microsoft Teams is set to roll out a new feature called message result suggestions which will aid users in easily finding relevant messages during search queries. This feature, part of the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 398955, will be deployed in stages, starting early July 2024, and will be automatically updated for users without any action required. By narrowing down the search results to "messages", users will be provided with message result suggestions that contain details such as sender name, profile picture, and message location. With this feature, users will be able to easily find the most relevant Teams message content available to them. The feature is designed to make searching for messages in Teams easy and accessible, enabling search suggestions for recent chats, meeting or group chat titles, participants, dates, web links, and file attachments. It will be available for all users with their allowed admin policies.
