Exchange: Test-Message coming soon
Microsoft is introducing a new cmdlet called Test-Message for tenant admins to troubleshoot Exchange Transport Rules (ETRs) and Unified DLP rules without having to contact Microsoft support. The Test-Message cmdlet will allow tenant admins to simulate test email messages and investigate why a certain ETR did not work properly. This cmdlet will be rolled out in late January and is expected to be completed by mid-February. There is nothing that needs to be done to prepare for this rollout and once it is available, admins can use the appropriate parameters to run Test-Message. This message is linked with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 100494.
