Microsoft Teams: Swap screens on Teams Rooms on Android
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android is set to receive an update in November 2024, allowing admins to configure dual display mode and swap screens on dual display devices remotely and through the Teams admin center, and comes with a Teams Rooms Pro license requirement. The update aims to enhance device management and rectify reversed display installations. Previously, the display mode depended solely on the physical connection to the device, leading to misconfigurations when external displays were accidentally disconnected or intentionally unplugged. After the update, the feature will be off by default and available for admins to configure, informing users accordingly through updated training and documentation. This feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 415243 and will roll out worldwide and in GCC High in November and December 2024, respectively.
