Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Ability to increase configuration of CPU and GPU device resource utilization limits in Forensic Evidence

Microsoft Purview compliance portal has upgraded its Insider Risk Management feature, allowing administrators to now adjust the CPU and GPU device resource utilization limit for all devices uploading Forensic Evidence clips in their organization. The Forensic Evidence feature now permits up to 31% CPU and GPU device resource utilization, an increase from the previous maximum limit of 5%, reducing interruptions in the recording and uploading of clips. Purview Insider Risk Management monitors signals to identify insider risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security breaches, and offers customers the ability to create policies as per their governance and organizational requirements. The product is designed to ensure user-level privacy with pseudonymized user data and access controls. This feature will be available for public use by November CY2024.
