Insider Risk Management policy template limit increase

Microsoft is set to increase the number of policies within each insider risk policy template from 5 to 20 in its Purview Insider Risk Management, without any admin action required from users. The update will roll out globally from late March 2024 to mid-April 2024. Insider Risk Management is designed to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as data leaks and security violations, and enables customers to create policies on their own internal policies and governance requirements. Users are pseudonymized by default, and the solution is equipped with privacy safeguards like role-based access controls and audit logs.
