Microsoft Teams: People app on Teams phone devices
Microsoft Teams continues to enhance its user experience with a new feature that improves the People app on Teams Phone devices. The new update provides a streamlined experience for users to switch between contact lists, add people, or create groups quickly. To access the new feature, updates are necessary, and the rollout will begin in mid-July 2024. With this update, the People app will offer a faster and simplified interface, enabling users to navigate through different contact lists swiftly. Users can also add people from the directory or create contact groups. Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 396773 provides more details about this update.
To benefit from this update, make sure you update your Teams Phone devices' People app to the latest version. Once you complete the update, you will experience a simplified and faster experience. The rollout will start in mid-July 2024 and is expected to complete by late July 2024 for General Availability (Worldwide, GCC) and late August 2024 for General Availability (GCCHigh).
