Creation of Contact Groups in Calls App

The Calls App just got better! Now, users can effortlessly create new contact groups or edit the membership of existing ones, thanks to the new contact groups feature in the Call App's right rail pane. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 100152 and is scheduled for release in early October, with completion set for late October.

The update promises to simplify the group creation process by allowing users to create and manage contact groups directly from the Calls App. With this update, users can easily organize their contacts, streamline communications, and improve overall productivity.

As an organization, there is nothing you need to do to prepare for this rollout. However, you may want to notify your clients and users of this upcoming feature addition and update any relevant training materials as necessary.
