Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Proactive document summarization
Microsoft Copilot is an intelligent tool available within Microsoft 365 that automatically generates a summary of any document you open. This proactive document summarization feature is designed to save users time by quickly surfacing the most important insights contained within a document. Currently in general availability and accessible via the web and cloud platform, Copilot's summaries are generated as soon as the document is opened, making it easy to quickly get up to speed on the key takeaways without having to read through the entire document. The feature was released in June CY2024 and is available to users worldwide.
