Microsoft Copilot for Text Selection | Chat Support in Microsoft 365
Microsoft Copilot now offers a new feature that allows summary requests in chat to operate only on the user-selected text in the document, rather than on the entire document. This feature is available on the web cloud platform and will be released for general availability in May CY2024. The feature ID is 388742 and can be found on the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
