Microsoft Teams: Record a video and share in channels
Microsoft Teams is set to launch a new feature allowing users to record video directly in Teams channels. Initially available only in chat, the new Record video clip option will let users record short clips of themselves, their screen or audio to send as a new post or reply in channel conversations. The feature is set to be available for Teams on Windows desktop, Mac desktop and the web from mid-January 2025. Admin action will not be required for the automatic rollout of this change. This new feature will make it easier for Teams users to communicate with colleagues through video, enhancing collaboration and productivity.
